Play Doh World

Play Doh World Settings
The Settings Area enables the user to configure the appearance or actions in an application, operating system of the Play Doh World game.
The Settings Area also serves as the space where all the Grown-up content is located (ie privacy policy, FAQ etc) (Mostly elements that are not necessary for the kid’s main game play.) It serves to inform and customize the parameters and overview of the game and the device.

App Flow Diagram
I created an app flow diagram outlining the user journey of the Play-Doh World App and went in detail with the Settings Page. The app flow diagram served as a blueprint for design decisions and guided the development process, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
Site Map
I created the site map for Play-Doh World. This helped stakeholders understand how different pages or sections relate to each other, making it easier for them to navigate and find what they're looking for. This process also helped identify any gaps or redundancies in the user journey, it allowed me to address and optimize the overall user experience.

Settings Wireframe
Created wireframes and collaborated with the product design team to get second perspective in terms of hierarchy of needs of the user.
Designed the wireframes with the intention of its contents to be customizable for other eOne / Hasbro digital products.

User Story
When sketching out the journey creating user stories helps maintain a user-centric focus by expressing the configuration needs from the perspective of the end user.
User Flow
I outlined the path the user takes within the settings page to achieve their goals. This helped identify the opportunities to streamline the user experience, remove unnecessary steps, and improve overall usability. This was also useful for developers to understand how users navigate through the application, where they encounter friction or confusion, and where they drop off.

User Interface
Collaborated with the Graphic Design Team to develop the user interface. The team is using the Play-Doh Brand guidelines to develop the look and feel of the Play-Doh World Settings.
Developed a design system based on the components within the settings page. The Design System Library is the single source of truth which groups all the elements that will allow the teams to design, realize and develop a product.

Takeaway
Building the components of the design system is stemmed from user and business needs. With Play-Doh in its MVP stage, the product aims to meet spec upon launch. This means that the product will still continue to grow. There will be numerous amounts of iteration and evolution Play-Doh has yet to face. I designed the settings page to be as flexible to the needs of users and business needs. The settings page was a collaborative process with PM, PO, Devs, Graphic Designers, and Legal in order to create a system that works for everyone.
